About

What's my story?

In Greek, "adelphi" means "brothers" or "siblings." In a broader sense, it can also be used metaphorically to refer to a close-knit group or community. My vision for this brand is to share my knowledge and experience with individuals and small businesses and help them bloom and find their voice. Despite quarrelling over the smallest of things, siblings support and uplift each other, which is the core value in Adelphi Design. The concept of community is also extremely personal to me.

My name is Adel and I am a nomad. I was born in Iran, I grew up in Kazakhstan and later on built homes in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong and Germany. Currently, I am settled in the United Arab Emirates, but as you might guess, my feet never let me stay in one place for too long :) Despite wandering all around, integrating into existing and building new communities is very important to me. I love working with people from different cultures and backgrounds and I love sharing my passions with those I meet.

I graduated from the University of Sussex with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Global Media and Communication and I am about to finish my MSc in Brand and Marketing Management from the ICN Business School. I worked in publications since I was 15 years old. My journey started from being a staff member in Yearbook to becoming the Editor-in-Chief. Later, I started writing scripts for a local radio programme. I have over 3 years of professional experience as a content creator and digital marketing manager. The past 2 years of my life I have been focused on strategy building and making branding portfolios. I am an extremely driven and curious learner so growth and change are a stable in my experience. I am quality and detail oriented and flexible in my communication. I hope that we can make a great team working together!
